Managed services or project work?

Managed services or project work?

Two ways to buy from us — most clients use both.

Managed services (block hours)

Best for ongoing, unpredictable work: maintenance, small changes, questions, "please just handle this."

  • Pre-purchased pool of hours at a preferred rate
  • Drawn down as work is logged; remaining hours on every invoice
  • Pools renew monthly and roll over per your agreement

Project work

Best for defined outcomes: a build, a migration, an integration with a fixed scope.

  • Agreed milestones and deliverables before work starts
  • Fixed pricing or capped estimates per phase
  • Progress visible in the portal: milestones, deliverables, daily updates

Choosing

  • Expect ongoing small asks? Managed services.
  • Know the outcome but not the path? Project.
  • Both? Common pattern: a project to build, then block hours to run it.

Ask your point of contact and we will recommend a mix based on your last few months of requests.
