Product guide: community

The community connects workspaces to workspaces — company to company, not person to person.

Your company card

Your workspace has a community profile: the display name, description, and details other workspaces see in the directory. Keep it accurate — it is how counterparties recognize you.

Connections

Workspaces connect explicitly, like a contact request:

  • Request a connection from the directory, or receive one.
  • Until the other workspace accepts, nothing is shared.
  • Either party can sever an accepted connection later; access ends immediately.

What connected workspaces can do

  • Feed — see each other's company posts, and comment on them.
  • Direct messages — a private org-to-org thread per connection.

Nothing is visible to unconnected workspaces except your directory profile.

Etiquette

The company speaks as the company — posts are signed by your workspace, not an individual. Keep posts to things counterparties genuinely benefit from: announcements, updates, questions.

Getting started

Ask us to review or set up your community profile, then decide which connections make sense. Open a ticket titled "Community setup" and we will handle the rest.
