Product guide: deals and pipelines

For clients using the sales side of the portal: how opportunities move from first contact to signed work.

Pipelines

A pipeline is the set of stages a deal passes through — e.g. New → Qualified → Proposal → Won. Your workspace can have several pipelines for different kinds of business.

Deals

Each deal tracks one opportunity: the contact, the value, the stage, and the deal lines — the individual products or services priced into it.

Everyday actions

  • Move a deal — drag it to the next stage, or ask us to; the history is kept either way.
  • Add lines — deal lines itemize what is being quoted, so the proposal and the eventual invoice agree.
  • Close it — a won deal can seed a project and its first invoice, so nothing is retyped.

Where we fit

If we run this workspace with you, send deal updates the same way you send everything else — a ticket or a message — and we will keep the pipeline honest.
