Purchase requests and approvals
How buying on your behalf stays visible and approved — no surprise spend.
The flow
- Request — you (or we) raise a purchase request: what, why, cost, needed-by date.
- Quote — anything above a standing threshold gets priced before commitment.
- Approval — your named approver signs off in writing; the record shows who and when.
- Purchase — we buy, the order and receipt attach to the request, and the cost lands on your next invoice.
What we need from you
- Who approves purchases, and up to what amount without a second sign-off.
- Preferred suppliers, if any — we honour them where practical.
- A budget note for recurring items so refills do not need fresh approval each time.
Visibility
Every request, quote, approval, and order sits on one record. Ask for the purchase history any time — it reconciles line-for-line with invoices.
