Using stock levels and reorders

The mechanics behind "there is one in the van" and "more arrives Thursday."

Levels

Every managed item has a minimum level and a reorder point. When stock touches the reorder point, purchasing starts automatically against the standing list — no ticket needed. You see the order in the purchase register like any other.

Everyday moves

You want to...Do this
Check availabilityAsk in chat or a ticket — live count and location
Request stockTicket: item, quantity, destination
Change a minimum levelTicket: item and new level; we confirm the cost impact
Add a new managed itemTicket: item, expected usage; we quote the standing stock

Counting

Physical counts happen on a schedule and after any anomaly. If your team also draws from the same stock, tell us — the register only works if it reflects reality.
