Using tax exports and documents
Getting the right numbers out, in the shape your accountant wants.
| Export | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Transactions | Every recorded transaction with its tax treatment |
| Liability | Position by period |
| Expenses | Categorised spend |
| General ledger | The full account-level view |
| Trial balance / P&L | Period summaries for review |
All machine-readable (CSV) unless you ask for PDF. Recurring exports — monthly or quarterly — are set up once.
Quote the period and roughly what it is: "the Q2 filing receipt", "April's invoice batch". Retrieval is minutes.
They name the format, we produce it. If they want access on a recurring basis, we can schedule the export to their inbox — with your written OK, once.
We keep records reconciled and produce the numbers; filing and tax advice stay with your accountant unless your agreement says otherwise.
